Here are the notes from Sunday's service. Elder Stacy English brought the word.
It seems like it's the church that always has to be quiet. The
believers are afraid to declare what God has already set forth in his word.
You're in a state of fear when you're in a situation and don't
speak the things that God has declared in his word. You can't be in fear to continue to declare
that God is going to work things out.
Many have prayed about things and it looks like nothing is happening. Because
you don't really believe that God heard you, you begin to forget.
You have to know who you are so you don't lose yourself in a
situation. God has given you power, love, and a sound mind. When you realize who God has said that you
are and that you have the power within you. Whatever God has declared that he
is you have inside of you!
With declaration come challenges. With challenges comes the
confirmation of your declaration!
What qualifies you to overcome your situations is the fact that
you are of God.
Many are embarrassed to boast their beliefs for fear that they
won't fit in, that they will stand out or be ostracized. But you ARE a peculiar
people! You don't have to fear the
things of the world. We have a God who we can declare that he is the mighty
one. Even in the midst of everything you're going through, God is saying I was
there. And I'm still there!
All we need to do is trust God. It sounds so simple, but that's
all that's required
